About
Kristy has worked in the legal profession for nearly 20 years, she began her career as a legal receptionist where she discovered her passion for the law and helping clients. This led to her decision to study law.
Kristy was admitted as a Solicitor in 2020 and provides clients with a broad range of expertise and experience in all aspects of property law, including,
- Commercial, industrial and residential transactions and agreements;
- All aspects of leasing;
- Property acquisitions and disposals;
- Due diligence, both reviewing and preparing documentation and data rooms
- Property developments including reconfigurations of lots, land resumptions and small and large property and land developments;Strata and community titles;
- Body Corporate law;
- Planning law;
- Real estate contracts including auction contracts and off-the-plan purchases;
- Sustainability declarations, disclosure and warning statements;
- Cost appraisal, including stamp duty and disbursements;
- Vendor’s statement, general conditions and special conditions
- Liaising with financial institutions in regards to deposit bonds, loans, mortgages and discharges of mortgages;
- Adjustments to purchase prices with rates and allowances;
- Advice for first home buyers, including the First Home Owner Grant; and
- Advice with easements and covenants on title searches.
